Happy Birthday to my love, my mother!

Yesterday February 27th, 2011 was my mothers 50th birthday!It was a busy day for me so I wasn't able to blog.

Ok so here is the story, for months my mother kept hitting that she wanted a 50th birthday party, she would say things like "I don't care if its only 10 people at someone house, I want a party," that's all she would ever talk about, so my sisters and I decided to throw her surprise party, if you know my mom she is hard to surprise, this woman made it difficult to keep this party a secret, we would pretend like we just couldn't give her a party, we ran out of time, it was too late, etc.. we just made sure she would believe that her "3 kids" really wasn't giving her a "50th birthday party" lol ... With the help of a close friend and a close family member we gave my mother a beautiful 50th birthday party. A lot of people came to help make this day perfect. From the venue to the cake, her dress, her new haircut, the FOOD, everything was wonderful. My mother is one of my many blessings, my best friend, something like my everything, it felt so good to make her that happy and to give her exactly what she wanted on her day, it really was a nice feeling. =)

This past weekend I was able to enjoy a nice dinner with friends at Ketchup in West Hollywood, I give this place 5*, from the decor to the food I enjoyed every bit of it. If you are in the Los Angeles area or in Washington, DC I highly recommend you check it out!!!
